Monday 9th November
I have done 2 out of the 3 documents for the concept sketches, so I need to finish that one. Also I still have abit of the documentation left to do, then once I have done that I just need to print everything off and put it all in order in my clear folder/s, then just hand it all in to be marked.

21st September - 30th October
For the last month, i have mainly been working on my folded document. This is because I had a lot of difficulty with the design/layout of it, the pages would be printing only half of the page and not fitting together as it should have been. So to overcome this issue after a week of trying to fix it, it was best just to change how the document opened and just place everything differently. It isn't how it's meant to be but it still looks ok, and it still has all the information in it, it's meant to. Also I have finished making my multi page document, as I just need to do the printing for that. All I have left to do this week is the documentation, then I have finished all the work that is required for this standard.

24th August - 4th September
Had a few problems with my Poster design. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to so I had to re-do it all about two more times. And still it didn't look right, the balance and the proportion didn't work very well. So in the end I have changed the whole design, and it looks a lot better and Mrs Hammond likes the new design.

Font evaluation, working on different ways to do a heading in photoshop for the poster. And putting the poster together. Still put the poster together, because I changed programmes I was making it in because I didn't like InDesign very much, so I changed to Photoshop.

Term 3 - 20th July-24th July
I had my second interview with my client, and found what design she wants for each document, colours and fonts. I have evaluated the interview, and I just need to now do the concept sketches for each document.
After I have done this I can start designing each document.

I had to redo my GANTT chart because it wasn't up to the standard that is required, which took most of the week.
22nd June-26th June
I was off school all from the 22nd June to the 26th June because I was sick. So I didn't do anything on my work at all this week.

I have finished my thumbnail sketches and evaluated them, and have researched fonts and colour schemes. I just need to evaluate both of these things. Also I need to meet with my client.

This week I have been doing thumbnail sketches for all three of my designs, their not all finished yet so I will need to finish them next week. And I also need to do a few other things next week.

I finished all my planning and researching, so that part of my assignment is done. I had to redo things on it all this week because it wasn't upto level 3 standard but now it is all fine. I have also started my thumbnail sketches.

This week I have been getting part of 3.1 done so I can carry on with the rest of the project, so I have been editing things, redoing things and finishing things so that it is all up to level 3 standard and so I am able to move on and carry on with the rest of the project and get all the credits.

Thursday 9th April - Friday 8th May
I didn't do much of the assignment during this time due to it being the end of term holidays and when we returned back to school on Monday 27th April I went on a Kayak Trip for PE on the Tuesday and didn't get back until the Saturday. So from Monday 4th May - Friday 8th May I worked on a few things that I needed to finish.

For the past few weeks I have been adding things to my brief that needed to be included that I didn't put in before, researched laws that I will have to take into account when I am making and designing these designs. I also wrote why these laws apply to me and my designs and what I would need to do to make sure I don't breach these laws. I also make a list of stakeholders and key stakeholders and wrote why they have a say in what goes into the designs.

Monday 16th-Friday 20th
This week I have completed the interview with my cilent and got other documents from her that has information on them that I may be able to ue in my designs. I completed the briefs and I also got permission from the Librarian to say that I can use the information she gave me in my designs and also permission from Mr O'Halloran to say that I can use the school crest in my designs. I have had to do this because copyright laws apply here, so to use the information and the image of the school crest I had to ask for permission.

This week I have found a client, who is the Tawa College Librarian, wrote the questions for the interview with her that I will do today, completed my GANTT chart, done some research and brief. However I cannot complete my brief until I have done the interview with my client, due to the aim/purpose, target audience and the specfications is all upto them.
